  1. Open Settings → System, Device Preferences, or About. Confirm that the device identifies itself as Google TV or Android TV, and note its model.
  2. Open the Apps tab or Google Play Store. Search for Downloader, install it if it is available, and open it once.
  3. In Downloader, enter the official BoomBox TV code 4556570, then select the BoomBox TV APK download.
  4. When Android asks for permission, choose Settings and enable Allow from this source for the app opening the APK—normally Downloader. On some devices this is under Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps.
  5. Return to the download, choose Install, and then open BoomBox TV.
  6. After installation, turn Allow from this source back off for Downloader.

Do not defeat a security block

If Downloader is unavailable, installation is disabled, or Play Protect or Android developer verification blocks the APK, stop and contact BoomBox support. Do not turn off Play Protect or use an unofficial installer.
